[POOL] Results

Tonight's results, from memory (so may not be complete and/or totally
correct).

We played Bass Ackwards.

First was Rob vs Glenn in a 2:4 or so.  Glen is a tough opponent, which
unfortunately made it tough for Rob, who lost 0:4.

Next was Eric against Dean in a 1:9.  Eric got off to a slow start,
but after warming up, he put together a nice run after a rare Dean
miss, and took the game and match, 1:5 or so.

Roger played next against Sasha in 2:3.  Roger took the early lead
after an 8-ball scratch by Sasha, but then Roger repayed the favor by
giving Sasha ball-in-hand on the 8.  Roger played tough in the
following games but couldn't pull out another win, ultimately losing
the match, 1:3.  BTW, Roger, you forget to pay, so you own Kevin $6
for the match and I think Paul for your bar tab.  Bad Panda. :)

I was next against Marsaja (sp?) in a 3:2.  Marsaja was struggling to
make shots, which was good for me as I started missing makable shots
in the 3rd game.  Nevertheless, I prevailed, winning the match 3:0.

Paul played the final match against Jeremy in a 2:6.  Paul shot well
in the first game which he won, and continued to shoot well in the 2nd
until he got to the 8.  Jeremy was apparently eager to get home,
however, as he kept missing his balls until finally Paul was able to
sink the 8, taking the match 2:0.

So we won 3, lost 2.

In the makeup matches, Dave played Amanda in a 2:4 (or so) for last
week's makeup.  Dave's still finding his pool legs, and despite a good
effort, he went down, 0:4.

Brian R played the remainder of his match against George from 2 weeks
ago.  They were at 1:5 of a 2:8 match when they started.
Unfortunately for Brian, George was playing well and denied Brian
another win, handing him a loss instead, 1:8.

Next week we play Retarded Monkeys.
