I won my match 2:5. It was freakin tough. In the last game, I made a very hard bank shot to the opposite side pocket, which left the queue lined up straight on with the 8.

Subject: [POOL] Yesterday's results

We played Retarded Monkeys. I had to leave early, so I didn't get a
chance to take notes, but iirc:

Craig played Ray(?) in a 2:4 (or so); Craig won 2:2(?).

Paul played next against Mike (M?) in a 2:8 match. Paul was off for
most of the match (and Mike was playing well as usual), but after
being down 0:7, Paul make a strong comeback to win the 8th game, and
got to the 8-ball first in the 9th game. Unfortunately, there was
still a little bit of rust remaining on his cue, and he was unable to
sink the 8 before Mike did, so Paul lost the match, 1:8.

I was next against Jesse in a 2:4 (or maybe it was 2:6?). No matter,
'cause I was shooting well and not leaving much when I missed, which
resulted in my winning, 2:2.

Brian R played the 4th match against Rich, in a 2:6. I had to leave
just as they started, so I don't know the outcome.

The 5th match is to be made up next week by Brian T.

Next week we face Mr mR.

BTW, the official results are in, and last session we finished in
8th. We were only a few wins out of placing much higher though, so it
wasn't as bad of a finish as it sounds.
