[POOL] Last night

We started the night tied for first place, one game ahead of third,  
and 2 games ahead of fourth.  We were playing a fourth place team (Cue  
Strokers).

I played Ron Scott in a 2-6.  I played well, but couldn't pull it off.  
Ron won 6-1.
Paul played Cheryl in a 2-2.  Paul took it to the wire, but went down  
2-1.
Brian played Jori in a 2-2, Brian swept 2-0.
Rob played Melanie in a 3-2.  I left before the end of that match, it  
was 2-1 Rob when I left.
John was to play Andy in a 3-2.

I'll let someone who was there fill in the blanks.

Paul "played" a make-up match against X-Cue-Ses, playing a new guy Pat  
in a 10-1.  Pat won the lag, and broke as Paul was approaching the  
table.  The 8 went in, and the cue ball went off the table.  Paul  
turned about and came back victorious with about as little effort as  
you can muster.  This means we swept X-Cue-Ses from the last night of  
matches.
