A few minor corrections.

Rob's match was an 8:2. He won his final game via an 8 in the wrong
pocket, bringing his record to 3-0 on the year.

My match was a 2:2. I eked out a victory in the first game, went on a
5 ball run off the break in the second, and held on to win 2-0.

John's match against Andy was a 3:2. John started off slow, but
closed toward the end of the first game, narrowly losing. He also
started off a little slow in the second game, but went on a nice run
at the end and won. Andy took the third game and John won the rubber
match on an 8 in the wrong pocket, as Roger noted.

Oh, and Roger gave me a $20, not a $10. Had I known that he thought
he gave me a $10, I could have made a nice profit on the evening. :-).
