[POOL] Last night's results

It was a fun time at Q last night.  We played the Bushwackers.

First up was Brian in a 3:4 against Wayne Jr.  Brian won 3-2.

At about the same time, I was playing Wayne Sr. in a 2:3.  This was 
interesting.  I was slaughtered the first game.  Game 2, I rocked and 
won game 2.  Then the break for game 3.  I tried an 8-ball break, major 
draw on the cue.  The cueball hits the rack pops in the air, bounces, 
lands ON the rail (far end), rides along the rail for about 18 inches 
and rolls back on the table.  Meanwhile, the 8-ball is making its way 
towards the side pocket and stops less than 2 inches from the side 
pocket.  So close, yet so far.  The remainder of the game went pretty 
bad for me.  But, Wayne got nervous on his 8ball shot and just poked the 
cueball (no follow-through).  The cueball chased the 8 in to the side 
pocket and I won the match 2-1.

Bill A. played Mike in a 3:4, I saw almost none of this match.  Bill 
lost 0-4.

John played Adam in a 2:4.  John played well and it was interesting at 
times.  Adam would get these over-complicated coaches (from his Dad) and 
then miss the shot.  John won 2-2.

Our other Brian played Tim in a 2:4.  Brian played pretty well at times, 
but Tim snookered Brian numerous times.  Brian won a game when Tim 
scratched on his 8-ball shot.  But alas, it was not meant to be, Brian 
lost 1-4.

The bottom line:  We won 3 of 5 matches.  Way to go team.
