Ok. I signed up, but I will be showing up a little late.  I expect to be
there around 7:00, 8:00 at the latest.

Folks,

Though I was hoping to get Brain's sinus infection, I will cover for
him. The only thing that I ask is that I could be one of the first 4
matches of the night (I.E. not the last match).

The wife is getting pretty cranky, so I can't be out too late and I will
be on electronic tether (yes, I will have a phone on me) just in case I
have to do the "run to the hospital" thing. I told her if she goes into
labor while I'm in the middle of the match to "take the truck, your
packed bag is in the back seat", and "you can drive if you just shove
you belly under the tilted steering wheel", but she got really angry at
me. I just don't understand her whole "sensitivity" thing right now.

Folks,

I've got a sinus infection.  I caught it early enough that it's mostly
just pressure, pain, and light sensitivity.  I would show up and play
wearing my sunglasses, but I think the smoke would be a major issue.  If
someone else could cover for me, I would appreciate it.  I should be
back in shape next week.
