[POOL] An interesting idea

I was thinking about ways to improve my game and I came-up with an
idea.  How about a laser scope on the cue?  I could go to American
Science and surplus and get all the parts to make a little "laser sight"
for my cue.  A small laser pointer is about $5.  I figure for about $10,
I'll have a "laser sighted" cue.   For bank shots, I could put a little
mirror on the edge of the table.  

I've already googled and found that I can get a cue with a laser sight
in the tip.  However, my idea is to have the laser above the cue, rifle
style.  The reason being, one of my (many) problems is cue/object-ball
alignment.  A laser will give me a much better view of that alignment.

Comments?  Suggestions?
