CGM alone would not be enough to generate a mesh<br>
CGM is mostly a wrapper around other geometry kernels, ACIS or OCC/OCE based.<br>
To generate a mesh you would need the SIGMA stack.<br>

I am not familiar with what format you need your mesh for <span lang="EN-US">EFISPEC3D</span>; I assume it is similar to NEK5000 solver, which is a spectral element method too. (so Nek needs a hexahedral mesh)<br>

And what is the input geometry format? Terrain data? <br>
We have some capabilities developed for ice sheet modeling. At the core, they do need a quadrilateral mesher for surfaces, which are then extruded/swept to form hexahedral elements. Also, it is assumed that the domain of interest does not have internal caves/tunnels,
so the sweeping in vertical direction is trivial.<br>

I am not sure how these would help your project.<br>
