I added the following:<br>
<ul>
<li>added <cubit_dir>/bin to LD_LIBRARY_PATH</li>
<li>added LFLAGS=.... as in email below (also tried LDFLAGS=....)</li>
</ul>
Attached is the config.log<br>

I can't remember whether or not I saw this on the 32-bit build, but it
may have been preempted by an LD_LIBRARY_PATH or other fix? I am
pretty sure that configure worked without any additional info.<br>

that isn't finishing?
