Please give some more detail of exactly the problem you're seeing.
There is code in the AG services to counter some of the mapping
problems with these devices, but with changes in vic and uncertainty
about which drivers you're using, and lacking a description of the
problem, I can't for certain know what's going wrong for you.<br>

On Windows, firewire capture shows flashing vertical white lines (as

vic can't see any firewire devices, and I have the device permissions

be on my end. I'm guessing that the Linux issue is due to the current
Linux packages (from Chris at UQ) not actually including the "enhanced
vic" code that supports DV and was developed at UQ, but rather just the
new h.264-supporting code from SUMOVER. Is this correct, and if so,
will these codebases be merged?<br>

Service packages for Mac OSX have been added to the project web page
referenced below. Note that the embedded vic executables will work on
either Intel or PPC Macs.<br>
