<P><FONT SIZE=2>Our systems people have suggested that by the end of this year the</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>only supported RedHat may be RH 9, so we have just installed that</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>on the capture and audio machines, prior to installing AG 2.x.x .</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>Indications from elsewhere are that some bits of the system, possibly</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>just the servers, are unhappy with anything later than RH 7.3 .</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>Before expending the effort on installing AG 2.x.x, I would therefore</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>like to check which base people think is best (RedHat only, please).</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>In a similar vein, our current display machine is Windows 2000, and</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>I am assuming that it is sensible to move to Windows XP for AG 2.x.x;</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>any views on this?</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2>BTW, we are doing the migrations by having alternate caddied hard</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2>drives for the different systems, keeping the rest of the hardware</FONT>
