hi,

i find myself in a similar postion--i have to upgrade our AG equipment, soon, as
in yesterday.

i would like to know what anyone thinks of the specs for the cameras--are the
Sony PTZ ones still considered the best? what others are being tried
successfully? i'd like to get two PTZ cameras right away--i wish i could go with
something digital right now, but that doesn't seem settled yet. unless anyone
has  any experience. it'd be great to use a DV cam output with some form of vic.
is that possible? i guess getting all the requirements in one package is the
problem: digital, PTZ, vic-compatible.

i'm also looking at projectors. i know our A/V dept. is ordering Mitsubishi
XL30u XGA units with 27dBa noise and 3000 lumens. anyone have any experience
with these? are specific projectors considered critical or are a wide variety
compatible (with the graphics cards i presume).

i'd appreciate any comments, suggestions, corrections to these thoughts.
