be as quiet as possible), 20% is the air conditioning</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>(which was
similarly specified) and 5% is residual sound from outside</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>and from
our equipment cupboard which has total hermetic seals</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>to the room
and is separately ventilated.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

canceller does a great job, and a decent number of</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

becomes especially relevant when lots of sites are in one</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

unless silence suppression is turned on (which considerably</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>reduces the
'being there' feel of the meeting) the total background</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>sound level
can all too easily drown out quieter speakers (or sites</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>that have
set their sound levels a little low).</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

specified a one-way mirror to surround the op; this will</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

impossible for someone to op their own meeting unless you</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

main op consoles up on the wall and, maybe, use a wireless</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN class=140062314-12122002>keyboard
and mouse or use VNC on a laptop to run the Display</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Georgia color=#0000ff><SPAN
class=140062314-12122002>machine. We find people self-op for perhaps 30%
