i spoke with Vbrick recently and they let me know that they had a "special"
price for Internet 2 institutions. E.g.,

Vbrick Kit 2 MPEG-2
(2) vbrick model 6200 encoder/decoder plus software 
(2) pixcam cameras and (2) microphones

special price: $14,995.

i think the list price for a single encoder/decoder box is about $5-6K (but
don't quote me on that).
