i would like to know if there's a way to connect to the unicast bridges from an
SGI/IRIX box, either by some different syntax connection, or otherwise, if
there's a port of vtc for irix (or would the source be portable to irix if i did
it myself?).

i need to use vtc because i don't have a firm date when multicast be fully
enabled here.
