<p>This is Creative's main Open Source page. Here you will find the source
code for our Linux Soundblaster Live (Emu10k1) device drivers. Also hosted
on this site are the driver sources for Dxr2 cards. These drivers were
donated to Creative, but are written and maintained by
<a href = "mailto:adq@tardis.ed.ac.uk">Andrew de Quincey</a> and
<a href = "mailto:lucien@martincurrie.com">Lucien Murray-Pitts</a>.

<H2>Latest News</H2>
<p>November 4, 1999: Comitted another set of Emu10k1 fixes, closed some
more Bugzilla entries and built
updated tarballs for both Emu10k1 and Dxr2.<p>
<p>November 3, 1999: Added mailing lists for Emu10k1 and Dxr2 development,
comitted a bunch of fixes to the Emu10k1 source tree, closed a few Bugzilla
entries for Emu10k1 and built updated tarballs for both Emu10k1 and Dxr2.<p>
<p>November 2, 1999: Cleanups and updates to the website, added a Dxr2
source tarball download link, and comitted some contributed patches to the
Emu10k1 CVS tree.<p>
<P>November 1, 1999: Launched the SoundBlaster Live! open source driver.

<h2>Anonymous CVS</h2>
To access the anonymous CVS service on this site, set your CVSROOT
environment variable thusly:<p>

CVSROOT=:pserver:cvsguest@opensource.creative.com:/usr/local/cvsroot<p>

Next, use the `cvs login' command to connect to the server. The password is
"cvsguest". Then you can use "cvs -z3 checkout emu10k1" or "cvs -z3
checkout dxr2".<p>
If you are looking for general CVS information or documentation,

should have everything you need.<p>

<H2>Creative Open Source Documentation and Sites</H2>

<li>Mailman mailing list frontends for the

are hosted at this site.<p>
<li><a href="cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi">CVSWeb</a> allows you to browse our CVS
source tree through the web. This interface is intended for browsing
purposes only. If you want to check out the CVS tree in order to compile
the driver sources yourself, please use the anonymous CVS system described
above.<p>
<li><a href = "bugzilla/index.html">Bugzilla</a> is our bugtracking system. Use
Bugzilla to notify us of a bug you've discovered, check on the status of
reported bugs, etc.<p>
