G200 Multi-Monitor Series (MMS), the first line of graphics cards ever to support up to
four DVI based digital flat panel displays with a single 8" PCI board. <br>
<br>
With continuing demand for digital flat panels in the financial workplace, the Matrox G200
MMS is the ultimate in flexible solutions. End-users can choose a Matrox G200 MMS which
supports either four digital, four analog or two analog and two digital flat panel
displays. The Matrox G200 MMS also supports the new digital video interface (DVI) created
by the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG) designed to ease the adoption of digital flat
panels. Other configurations include composite video capture ability and onboard TV tuner,
making the Matrox G200 MMS the complete solution for business needs.<br>

High Performance Multi-Monitor Support</strong><br>
Based on the award-winning MGA-G200 chip, the Matrox G200 MMS provides superior 2D/3D
graphics acceleration to meet the demanding needs of business applications such as
real-time stock quotes, live video feeds, multiple windows applications, word processing,
spreadsheets and CAD.<br>

Business users who spend long hours in front of monitors will also benefit from the
superior internal architecture of the Matrox G200 MMS. An integrated 250MHz RAMDAC and
128-bit DualBus design ensure superior performance, outstanding image quality and
flicker-free analog displays. Digital displays are crystal clear thanks to a
state-of-the-art SiI 154 PanelLink® transmitter for each MGA-G200 chip. Combined with 8MB
of SGRAM for each output, these components make the Matrox G200 MMS a veritable graphics
workhorse. <br>

Display flexibility extends beyond analog or digital support. End-users can choose among a
variety of resolutions to a maximum of 1800 x 1440 for analog flat panels and monitors and
1280 x 1024 for digital. And the single-slot PCI design means that end-users can continue
to add monitors to configure their perfect desktop. Under Microsoft® Windows® NT, four
Matrox G200 MMS cards can support a total of 16 monitors from a single system, making it a
competitive solution for trading rooms or any multi-display environment. <br>
<strong><br>
High-Quality Video Input</strong><br>
The Matrox G200 MMS brings the highest quality video in its class to multiple monitor
displays. With a direct cable input and optional onboard TV Tuner, users can take
advantage of the most cost-effective way to provide TV information rather than relying on
more expensive video servers. <br>
<br>
The Matrox G200 MMS’ "video in a window" allows multi-monitor users to
receive a video feed from Reuters, Bloomberg or other newswire services while
simultaneously working in other applications. Composite video-in allows the system to
capture video streams from either a VCR or camcorder. Photorealistic color at over 30
frames per second ensures that video playback is crystal clear. The Video or TV window can
be placed in any one of the monitors or even across all monitors. Matrox supports all
major TV signal standards.<br>
<strong><br>
Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 98 Support</strong><br>
The Matrox G200 MMS takes full advantage of the support options available under Windows NT
4.0 and Windows 98. <br>
<br>
As with the Productiva G100, the Matrox G200 Multi-Monitor Series includes the Matrox
PowerDesk, which allows users to change screen resolutions and color depths without having
to reboot. It also features a Virtual Desktop and a Desktop Navigator, which facilitates
movement around the enlarged desktop and the organization of multiple open applications at
the same time. In addition, the Matrox G200 MMS continues to support the OnNow feature,
which frees users from having to continually boot up their system, thus saving valuable
business time. <br>
<br>
Other features such as CenterPopUP, MaxView, Dialog box control feature, Logon/Logoff
single screen mode, Prevent Display Spanning and Saved application position make the
Matrox G200 MMS a complete multi-monitor solution. <br>
<br>
The Matrox G200 MMS will also fully support the new Windows® 2000 operating system.<br>
<strong><br>
Manageability Tools</strong><br>
Manageability is a key part of the Matrox product offering and helps reduce the total cost
of ownership. </font></p>
<ol>
<li><font face="Arial, helvetica" size="2">With the Matrox G200 MMS, end-users receive
Matrox’s unified drivers for Windows 98, NT 4.0. and Windows 2000. Unified drivers
allow MIS departments to easily qualify, service and manage Matrox graphics accelerators
for all customers’ needs in a demanding business environment. </font></li>
<li><font face="Arial, helvetica" size="2">As an active participant in the Microsoft quality
assurance program (WHQL), Matrox provides enterprise-wide fully compatible drivers. MIS
departments also benefit from the distribution of these drivers on Microsoft’s web
site.</font></li>
<li><font face="Arial, helvetica" size="2">In addition, Matrox supplies an MGA Diagnostic
Program, which automatically runs every time the system boots to check the health of the
graphics card. If conflicts occur because of changes made to the system, the MGA
Diagnostic Tool will identify the problem, greatly reducing the time required to solve it.</font></li>
<li><font face="Arial, helvetica" size="2">End-users also receive an MGA Monitor List, a
utility that provides the maximum display and refresh rates with over 300 monitor files.
Users can simply select their monitor from the provided list for exact monitor setting and
optimal performance.</font></li>

<p ALIGN="JUSTIFY"><font face="Arial, helvetica" size="2"><strong>Upgrades</strong><br>
Users who have purchased a Matrox G200 MMS without a TV tuner can upgrade with the Rainbow
Runner G-Series card. This video-editing card combines hardware Motion JPEG (MJPEG) video
capture/compression and editing, TV tuning and the ability to hold live video conferences
over the Internet. Also included is the ability to capture video from any source such as
camcorders and VCRs, allowing for the display of previously recorded and archived video
material. Rainbow Runner G-Series’ video capture and frame grabbing is ideal for
computer-based training and video memos. <br>
