Jason,

Thanks for a quick reply. We require to run our own jabber server within
AG3, as we are on a stand alone network with no internet connectivity.

So to answer your question, we need to configure and install the server
not the client.

G'day Kivshar

Can you confirm if you require a jabber client to be able to connect to
the AG 3 jabber server (http://www.accessgrid.org/node/44 provide
information on how to do this), or actually how to run your own jabber
server within AG3???

Thanks,

Jason.

Hello All,

I know this topic has been covered before but I was unable to find a
solution anywhere...

I know there are lots of jabber server software packages found at:
http://www.jabber.org/software/servers.shtml

But I'm wondering, has anyone come upon any guides/tutorials for any the
above and how to configure them to work with AG3 specifically?

Windows OS preferred but Linux is fine too!
