I'm sure you could configure your system to start the VenueClient at startup.
But you should note that the proxy may have to be renewed at startup, so
the process probably can't be entirely automatic.<br>

We do have plans to develop/integrate a whiteboard as a shared application
on top of AG2. We've talked about this the same way you describe, as shared
markup of images. I am interested in your solution. If you have any questions
about integrating it into AG2, let us know.<br>

I think you are right, our concerns are related to the initial hurdle of
getting the system configured. That should be done by us, once it's ok,
doctors should be able to use that. Now, if the configuration is ok, is
that possible to automatically start AG 2.0 client when the Linux
machine startup ? I think for doctors, what they want is specific
purpose. If we can do that, that would be easier for them to use.
By the way, is there any plan to put "whiteboard" function in AG 2.0 ? I
did not see it in Linux version. We just implement the function to have
X-ray photo shown, and let users to draw and mark notes on that photo.
But it's not in AG, we just use VIC and RAT. It's written in TCL/TK. We
will try to put it into AG 2.0, if we need some help, I will let you know.

As for RedHat 9, you do need to use the pyopenssl rpm that we are
distributing. Beyond that, we have done some testing of RedHat 9, but
as far as I know, this is still in process.

Now there are some steps they have to fill in GUI, select some
functions, so it's not easy for us to write some scripts to run it. And
we guys are not familar with the AG 2.0 source, it takes time if we want
to modify the code.
Another thing, the AG 2 RC1 now only works for Redhat 7.3 ? We tried
it in Redhat 9.0, but some errors. My colleague did a quick servey,
found that it seems we use the "pyopenssl" provided by ANL, not by the
distributed, then it shold be ok. Is that right ?
