[AG-DEV] Sending an event before the event loop starts

Hi,

This may be a stupid question, or I'm maybe just being laxy, but what I'd like
to do is find a way to send an event from an instance of a shared application
before the main loop starts. It doesn't need to be acted upon until the main
loop starts. Without starting a second thread or implementing my own event
queueing mechanism, can anyone suggest an easy way of doing this without
requiring a user to, say, press a button to trigger the startup events when an
instance of the shared application starts up?

Any ideas gratefully received!

Thanks,

Adam

PS Sorry if this is a duplicate message; I sent the first copy before I
